Our story
Hello, my name is Bhavesh Mistry, and I've been providing support to students when they need it most for over a decade. I have been working in the higher education sector for over 24 years, dealing with student cases every day.
The story of My Student Shop began after listening to the complaints and needs of first-year students.
In the UK alone in 2012/13, 435,000 overseas students were studying at UK universities and colleges. This figure has grown significantly in the past decade and is forecasted to rise by a further 29% by 2024.
Students, particularly those from overseas, arrive at UK universities with one or two suitcases, often lacking essential items such as bedding or kitchenware. My Student Shop provides these essential items.
